ok, so far so good. but in the full mission builder it won't let me fly any of the 4 engine planes. now, does anybody have a list of the planes that are flyable in the full mission builder for stand alone pacific fighters?

AFAIK, there are no 4-engine flyables in PF.

As far as a list, I've only ever seen a full list of everything flyable in the merged game, v4.08m. The plane set is pretty limited in PF for flyable, if memory serves you can't fly the Betty in PF stand-alone for instance, but it's available in IL-2 1946.

You could go to the QMB, that will tell you which planes are flyable.

The 1941 Betty is flyable in PF. So are the A20G, B25J and the Beaufighter. All of these are twin-engine aircraft.

4 engined planes are not flyable in IL-2, unless you venture over to the dark side...
Hold on, isn't the TB-3 a 4-engine? Haven't flown it so long, I can't remember now...

The TB-3 is 4 engined, but it is not available in PF only games.
