In the FMB, open the OnlineMT map. That's the only one. It comes with the Ace's Expansion for the merged version.

Using bird brain's off map idea and Cobra427's BOB Hurricane Season map, I've recreated the historical missions of the 352ndFG from Sept 1943 to March 1944 which originate at Bodney England and so far go to Belgium. The campaign is made with a group in mind being the one to fly the missions. It will be called "The 352ndFG, the Blue Nosed Bastards of Bodney, P-47 edition" and is dedicated to the members of the 352ndFG of WWII. I'm putting the finishing touches on this edition before making it available on our web site http://352ndfg.com/IL2/and will follow it up with the "P-51 edition" Thanks, bird brain, for the info on how to expand the map and to Cobra427 for permission to use and expand his map.

I have been building a historic misson that involves the Kyushu map. I would like to get the B-29s to fly off the map. As it stands now they come to the edge and fly happily in circles. I think I have the proper coordinates (negative) to move them due west. What the blazes am I doing wrong?

~S~ hey fellas. You can also copy paste all your map object position numbers from a template base map plan into any mis. file (dogfight map) you dont even need to change the first number/s ie: 0. 1. 2. etc all your objects will be there, good for making off map bases. Also use runway invisible(4) or 3(thin). as you know all the off map ground is flat so you dont have half buried runways. And yes. FMB DOESN'T muck up your mis. file. you will see your object position numbers still in the minus. ALl my online dogfight maps now have secret bases off the map , as well as bases and targets for all the online players to go to and attack . : ) .it's quite fun when you start to take them to off the map places. Also. it helps to create close to as off the map as possible a runway runway 4 I think is air start for quick traveling to off map fighting areas. and home base. this means right click on ready room map to enlarge it so you can then see the home base. : ) it is amazing what you can build off map. and it doesnt really stuff frame rates up.

This is handy at least once every couple of campaigns. Thought others might find it interesting.

+1 I've used this tip a lot for my own missions. Wheels

Yep, I've used it to put shipping targets a (semi-)realistic distance out to sea. Build a convoy with waypoints just off the N African coast, then add the desired number of km to the y co-ordinates in Notepad. It helps that the coast runs east-west, so only one set of co-ordinates needs adjusting. A very useful tip where desert and ocean are concerned.
