Perhaps it’s already mentioned, but AI has improved since 409B1m Beta. After going in for dive-bombing the D3A1 now follow up their job by groundstrafing (and in a very thoroughly way I must say)with gunfire. Never seen this before.

Yeah, it really does seem that the AI has been improved. I recall a dogfight with me in a 109G6, against a Spit Vb, and the spit was doing some stuff I had never seen before.

I'm not sure follow up attacks is an improvement, frankly. Sounds like a recipe to have entire flights slaughtered by AAA fire.

The US strafers, for example. They are far far more heavily armed for strafing attacks, and they should make one pass, dropping bombs, then leave.

Ran it through on 4.09b and didn't see anything unusual or new with the AI. They have always done that...or at least for a very long time as I fought with some Stukas way back in the AEP days trying to prevent them from strafing. Depends allot on the various waypoints...sometimes takes some effort to get it right. If you select a specific target for the GATTACK point then they will often not strafe. But if they are like you have it right now they will as its a general attack order at that point.

You may want to increase the initial attack altitude and decrease the altitude of the waypoint after the GATTACK point to try and get them to be a little more accurate (if thats what you want).
