Just been bitten with the building bug.Have followed what I believe are correct instructions in the .ini file , see part of below :

...but when we have tested mission we find the above ordinance can still be selected .A comment made was possible IL2SC config needs some parameter in place.Any ideas?

Also is there an updated planeset/loadout listing anywhere? I have one for Forgotten Battles but nothing later.

I don't think that actually prevents a player from selecting the loadout, but gives them some sort of demerit points, then they get kicked when the negative points reach a certain number.

My campaigns have (for some unknown reason) had the option for a player to change weapons ordnance. I'd rather not have this option but I don't know how to fix it. I noticed campaigns made by others that the weapons option is not available. How is this so?

Tick the box in "Edit/Conditions/Misc" for "No User Loadout" to prevent other players from chaging the loadout you've selected for the mission. BTW, this is a global setting for all aircraft in the mission.

Did you tick the "No User Loadout" option? I would suspect that you would need to do that for every mission unless there is a Notepad shortcut method for the entire campaign that can be edited in the campaign .ini file.

Another option, especially for a mission you have already created is to open the .mis file in notepad.

Then add this line just after the "Time" line:

WEAPONSCONSTANT 1

It should look something like this when you are finished:

This option, as well as the "No User Loadout" option, only apply to Single Player and Coop missions (and campaigns), AFAIK. Since the original poster mentioned IL2 Server Commander coding, I assumed he was asking about dogfight missions, but perhaps I was mistaken.

Yes dbillo ,it was originally referring to dogfight missions that we were experiencing problems.Atm the situation still exists .More head scratching going on back at base.
