I've been playing Il2 and using this Forum for about 6 months now and I feel that while the people here have helped me loads and given up their time to share there expertise with me to help me fly in a straight line! I haven't really done anything back! All take and no give! Well, that’s just wrong! O.k. if your new you don't have much to give until you learn some stuff but after sixth months I should be able to do something remotely useful! Anyways...
I'm not a practically good pilot, so if I'm gonna give something back I think it's going to be in the form of a mission/campaign, as I don't suck at those!
(less skill required! More a question of patients!)
So I've started on this mission, set in the mountains of one of the "Online" maps, can't remember which one. I've made an American and a British airbase... The plan is to make a series of none historical missions that can be played in any American attack runner/BnZ plane. The player is currently in a P-47 but the idea is that this could simply be changed to a P-38, P-51 etc and the missions would still play perfectly well. What I'd like to know is, how I could upload the completed missions to flying legends or mission for today etc. Any inspiration would also be lovely!
Plan so far is to add two German airbases, on one of the other mountains, and some searchlights/AA in the cities surrounding the mountains. Then I'll have top make some missions. I was thinking a simple, fly round the mountain then land at the base for starters, perhaps followed by a scramble to fight off incoming bombers. (I did a mission in Moscow like this, taking off whilst the airbase is being bombed

very nerve racking, but looks mint, especially at night!). Not sure after that... Any thoughts, sorry if I rambled a little.
