Howdie guys! Just got back into this game with a few buddies afters YEARS away. We all got 1946 and now I remember why this is the best flight sim out there.

My question is how can one of us launch a coop game and have the other 2 pilots join him online and run through some missions?

We tried last night but couldn't join by IP or anything, what are we doing wrong?

Thanks for your help.

After some seaches and experimentation I remember how to make basic missions. What I'm stuck on is how to connect 3 guys online for coop missions. Some questions:

Put the mission in the coop folder? (I assume)

Do each player need a copy of the mission in their folder or just the host?

How do they connect to host computer?

Thanks again for the help!

One of you needs to be the Host. The other two can join. First, find the host's IP. You can do that at: WhatIS My IP

Then the Host starts the game by selecting "Multiplay/Create a New Server/Coop". Select the mission. Your buds can select "Mulitplayer/Join Server" and type in your IP plus :21000

Yes in any "coop" folder or create a new one of your own inside the "coop" folder.
No, just the host.
See above instructions for connecting.

Remember, all three players will need to use the same version of the game as the host or they cannot conncet.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply Beebop. As far as I recall those are the steps we followed but we just timed out and couldn't join.

Strange, will try again tonight. Thanks.

I fly coops with my buddy all the time. If you are hosting and have a router installed your router might be blocking them from joining. You might need to use port forwarding to allow them to join.

Thanks guys, I think we got it now. It was a port issue to start with but when he got them forwarded people could join EXCEPT me. When he dropped his fire wall I could get in. So we played and had fun.

Multiple issues at work here?? I dunno, but it works now. Thanks again
