I have just reinstalled 4.08 to test some mods and would like to carry on with the above campaign. Where is the record kept of where the campaign is up to saved? I have tried copying the users folder over but no joy yet

It should be somewhere in Users or Documents but I can't remember. I know that if you edit anything in a campaign's mission folder the game might delete all your campaign progress, which is annoying.
If you can't figure it out then I would set instant success to off and then just keep loading missions, quitting, then hitting "apply" to move on to the next mission until you get to the latest mission you were supposed to fly. You won't have your kill tally but it might be the only way. Or you can edit the campaign file that lists the missions so the campaign starts on the latest mission you were supposed to fly, but that's a bit complicated. It's definitely a fun campaign with good missions, I've been flying it co-op with a couple guys and we've been having a blast. ----------------- Farewell to freedom in the Adriatic and to the days of wild abandon. If you don't copy all of the campaigns that the "User" had going it won't work.
If your pilot had 5 campaigns going you have to copy all 5 campaigns to the new install. This post at M4T by crucislancer helped me do it recently. http://www.mission4today.com/i...wtopic&p=31833#31833 I screwed it up later but that wasn't his fault. Wheels |
