It really depends on what kind of campaigns you like; historically accurate, fighters, ground attack, specific country to fly for, etc.

I have a list, but it is over two years old and some good stuff has been released since then. Here are the top 10 from that list. The first number is the total votes for it and the number in parenthesis is first place votes. One of my campaigns tied for tenth (Straight and True).

1. Battle over Britain------------42.0 (17)
2. Castaways----------------------25.5 (11)
3. When Tigers Could Fly----------25.0 (12)
-. Cactus Diary-------------------25.0 (11)
5. El Alamein----------------------15.0 (7)
6. Spanish Civil War---------------12.0 (6)
7. Experten------------------------11.0 (4)
8. Two Little Ducs-----------------10.0 (5)
9. Flying Tigers--------------------6.0 (3)
-. Straight and True----------------6.0 (3)

Here are three that I liked and short reviews.

The Blue by bird_brain.
Player flies RAF Gladiator (J8A) and Hurricane against Regia Aeronautica during early days of N. Africa campaign. I like Hurricane Mk.I very much so I enjoyed that part of the campaign most. Gladiator vs. CR.42 and Hurricane vs. G.50 are great match-ups! Some unusual missions that are good to 'break the routine'. A lot of flying takes place 'off-map' so navigating can be a challenge!

Castaways by Dubbo.
The most original, innovative and immersive campaign I have played. Takes place in a remote Pacific island in Japanese occupied territory. You operate from deserted allied base with various planes, mostly Beaufighter. Very thrilling missions, ingenious and funny briefings. Brilliant, a great experience.

JG27 by Browning50cal.
Excellent missions. I want to recommend this although due to poor hardware I wasn't able to fly through the entire campaign. You fly Bf 109 with (surprise! Big Grin) JG27 in various theaters during the war. Two parts, thus fairly long.
Good use of 'hacks' (plane skinned as another plane), you will face Fairey Battles and Dewoitine D.520s during Battle of France! Very immersive.

PS. Try some of the new static campaigns that come with 1946 package. I tried the VVS Blinding Sun -campaign and it was excellent. Quite difficult as well, and I guess the other ones might be the in the same class.

That's a tough one for me, so many fantastic campaigns out there.

Ok, here are three that are at the top of my list:

Hell in the Pacific: Peleliu - Action packed Corsair campaign, very immersive, both ground and air ops, and set during a battle that doesn't get much attention these days. All kinds of pucker factor here.

Storm Clouds - This campaign introduced me to the Tempest, and I've been a fan since. Flying for 486 Squadron in the NW Europe area, lots of action on the ground and in the air. A must play.

Luftwaffe Pilot: Afrika! - A fantastic story makes this campaign a must play. While it's a good idea to play the first two in the series (Condor Legion and Battle of Britain), this one is my favorite of the LWP campaigns.

Good question!

Tons of greats out there, but as it stands right now my fave is the Drang Nacht Osten series for EnjoyR DGen, for both the German and Russian side.

The static missions shipped with 1946 are very good as well - with a possible exception of "The Rebel". I like anything that puts you in the Ar196, but some of the missions were kinda hokey...
