Thanks for asking...
Well, I actually eager to, but firstly I have to find a new descent job, so I can't afford myself PC gaming cause I spend all time studying a lot of things now. And only after I succeed I'll ask you to explain how to join you at the servers... Mangas. |

O.k.
I just was asking because I got shot down last night by someone flying under the name "Anton". I know that there's more than one Anton, I was just wondering if it perhaps had been you. B50 |

Hi,
I am not sure if it can be of any help but the Series "Suomen Ilmavoimat" which has now come to its fifth volume. '1943' contains a day to day account on the Finnish Air Force clashes with their Soviet counterpart. Keskinen and Stenman in many places gives time, aircraft type and numbers involved on both sides as well as the claims and losses and some other details. Sometimes first hand accounts of the fights seen from the FAF side are included. Soviet units involved mentioned when identified. Text fully bi-lingual in Finnish and English. More here: http://www.kolumbus.fi/kari.stenman/ (These books can perhaps also inspire some more campigns based on Finnish - Soviet events to be made.) Br Goran |

Thanks.
I'm better than I used to be, and online is pretty addictive. It just takes so much longer than offline stuff. Also, since I'm American, I tend to fly American or Allied stuff, which instantly places me at a severe disadavantage in a dogfight. If I hop into a Japanese aircraft, I can just shoot anybody down pretty easily. To win in American aircraft, you must get real high, dive on somebody that doesn't see you, and hope that you disable them on the first pass. If you make one turn, you die. It's difficult like that. Especially since .50's don't cause fires. You must separate a wing, or cut control cables. Other than that the online .50's are worthless. Shoot somebody with .303's though and they go up on fire like a torch, really quick. If you take a hit from even one 20mm round online, it's curtains. Your wing just flies off, or your engine stops completely, or it's a pilot kill. Instantly. As I said before, I must leave for a while soon, (Same circumstances as 2006) But maybe around late Autumn we could find a good SOW online server and shoot down Dorniers or something. Been having trouble building missions lately, but I hope to finish sooner than later. B50 Thanks for the link Gladiator. |

Whoa, I'm a little late here htis time B-50. Sometimes you just have to improvise. My current 1947 east/west project is totally fictional, but i have done alot of research to make it plausible. I have alot more room to work with in fictional situations.
Kinda drives ya nuts when you can't find the details you want. I'm trying to find the corect colors of RAAF Late spits that were used in the post war occupation of Japan before they were replaced by 51s, but there just aren't any that I can find. So one of our intrepid skinners is improvising one that looks great. Sometimes it works out well. As for online flying, I encourage anyone who has this sim to get into it, as it is so much better to fly against humans. I can't believe it took me so long. It's a great way to get your mind off lousy circumstances, and I've made some great friends online with the guys in my squadron and others that I fly with. I'm sure B-50's rather interesting livelihood gets in the way of his online flying as well as blding a cmpn project, but his Sakai cmpn is excellent if you haven't flown it. Here is a link to nearly 50 screenshots from a SEOW online misn my comrades and I flew in our ongoing battle for Italy which is in its 10 misn tomorow. Im flying for the Luftwaffe in it, and we are locked in our cockpits with limited icons. I posted htis in the GD forum recently, but you guys may not have seen it. I hope it encourages you to try online when it's possible. http://www.dangerdogz.com/forums/index.php?topic=3809.0 Still Looking forward to the new cmpn B-50. Don't hesitate to improvise a bit. Nothing wrong with educated guesses. ------------------------------ Sleep tight tonight, your Air Force is......awake! Photo by Enforcer: North American F-86D |

That was a fantastic set of pics!
I'm very much an online noob! I got teamspeak to work, but I have only used it for one night on Zekes vs Wildcats. I flew on the Axis side, so of course I didn't die, but it is amazing how much teamspeak increases your situational awareness. There is a possibility that I could go out with a good Allied team and get a few kills using mutual support and tactics. As far as the campaign goes, my lively hood is getting in the way of flying and mission building. But as I said in an earlier post, I've got my laptop, and I will continue to build until I am finished. Tracks and all. Of course in a couple of weeks, I'll be off of the forums for a while, but one day, in some strange part of the world, I will upload the completed campaign. The mental block of improvisation has been passed, now all that I need to do is press the mouse button 2,234,890 times to finish the last 30 or so missions, and then upload. B50 |

Still not ready to upload, but still in work.
Hello all. I'm enduring a thunderstorm in Singapore, just relaxing for a few days before I get back to work. More to follow. Good luck everybody with your projects and missions. B50 |
