There could be several reasons for the things you mentioned. Maybe you don't see your fighters/bombers 'cause the initial speed is still 0 kmh so they go down immediately. Or bombers take off from a short strip so they explode at the end of the runway.
And bombers not bombing your targets: probably you set the GATTACK waypoint too close to your target.

Have you tried this site by the way:

I really don't understand what you are asking, it could be all sorts of things.

Maybe you could copy and paste the mission data from its file to a post here, then we could run it and tell you what you need to do. FMB is pretty simple in Il-2 but it can be tricky to figure it out at first.

Another possibilty is that you may have them starting late. This can happen by erasing the starting way point without resetting the time for the second way point; or if you set a delay for the starting way point.

Usually there are more than one WP (the dots representing the path for the planes). Your troubles may stem from the fact that if you set the last WP to ground attack the plane will Kamakaze into the target.

a) make sure the time for the first waypoint for all planes is the same as the time on the map--if it is say 12:05pm then the planes won't spawn until 5 minutes have passed on a map set to 12pm.

b) you should make at least 3 waypoints for the blue planes. The first one is where they will start. Then the second one you can set to ground attack and set the target on the bridge (at least it looks like a bridge in your picture)--this second waypoint should be close to the bridge just to make sure they lock onto it and bomb it. Then make a third one because if the last waypoint is ground attack, the planes might crash into the target--making another waypoint makes them fly to that third waypoint after dropping their bombs.

c) you can make a second waypoint for your plane and that way your plane will spawn at the beginning of the mission pointed from the first waypoint to the second one.

If you read the manual it has a section on this, it's not always easy to understand but it had a couple bits of advice about stuff like altitude for dive bombing that were useful to me.

The site Uufflakke linked will probably answer your questions.
His tutorials are in video form and only last about 5 minutes each.

It looks like you only put one waypoint in for each aircraft. You need to place several waypoints to make the aircraft go where you want them to fly. I suggest you open up a mission that someone else made and look at it.
