Work has started on another campaign first: Singapore 1941, a handful of allied (Dutch and RAF) take on the Japanese Juggernaut.

Progress is good, anyone interested in testing yet? Cool

If it's compatible with 4.08m, I'll give it a whirl.

I would not mind testing a mission or two. Do I get to fly a Buffalo?

My Sakai campaign sort of messed around with the Japanese perspective of this theater. It would be interesting to see it from the other side...

Also, I apologize for not getting back to you sooner about the stuff that you sent me. I was on detachment in a different state, and I couldn't open the attachments. If you have my old PM with my civilian address, could you resend me that stuff? I would love to add to the next version of my campaign with the info that you provided.

Thanks,
B50

The 352ndFG is alive and well and still kicking. Here is a link in case the old one is dead:
http://www.352ndfg.com/IL2/
We don't go online as much as before but we fly twice a week on Thursday and Sunday evening and some of our members participate in the Fa server offerings. We've had challenge matches with the Danger Dogs and a few other groups and are still adding members to our roster after a trial/training period.
We have a few more surprises to unveil like our movie which can be downloaded from the web site I just gave a link to. I can't talk about the other surprises just yet but the quality of what we will be offering will be unsurpassed for awhile

Link is working fine here. On the site now downloading a movie or two. BTW Bogustogus I'm really enjoying the Y-29 campaign and finding the P-51 is quite a nice plane to fly. Thanks for the effort in making the campaign.

I've re- worked some of the missions in this package to make them more realistic, especially the first couple of missions.Wink

Anyone have any feedback on other missions, say missions 10 and on? Blink

Based on this I will prepare a version 2 of this campaign which should be available within the next couple of weeks Wink

Thanks guysSmile

It's a while since I played this campaign, but the only thing I found wrong with the first couple of missions was that the weather was too clear for December - I thought it need to be changed to "poor" or "blind".

The later missions I was very happy with - don't make too many changes to what is an excellent campaign, BT!

The campaign is pretty tough to fly as it is. I found the first mission pretty easy, the second was more challenging but after that I couldn't get through a mission at the first attempt. In some cases several attempts. In every mission the AI do Sweet Bugger All and leave me to deal with hordes of enemy who all focus on me. I found the only way to complete some of the missions was to ignore the objective and just fly for survival. In the first bad weather mission, I think it's mission 8 or 9, I have to re-fly the mission and I have trouble getting off the ground, keep getting blown sideways and crashing or I lose orientation in all the cloud and crash. Frustration got the better of me on that mission, I haven't been able to complete it and I haven't looked at it since. Still like the P-51 though.

Bogustogus - I'm just playing through this campaign again, and I think you need to check the skins for the second mission.

There are no skins allocated for the P-47's, and the P-51C's are not showing, as the .mis indicates they have been allocated P-51D skins.
