I've tried several times now to make campaigns, but I can't seem to get them to work. I have all of the missions together. Can someone tell me how to form missions into a campaign please?

i read the doc and i got the campaign.ini file done, i'm just having trouble getting the info file to work. can someone tell me in steps how to create the info file please. sorry for the trouble.

I'm not sure what you mean about "info" file,(though it's been a while since I read the tutorial myself)

I do alot of copying and pasting from my past campaigns, as this saves having to re-write everything on the .ini, which is the only thing in the campaign folder that you need to get it to run. (Except for a folder titled "video" if you want tracks in your campaign)

If you use this format for all red country campaigns, and have the missions saved in the proper folder, with ZERO typo's (there can be no errors in the opening 6 lines)

Then your missions should load one after another, and you will gain awards and statistics as per the country file in which your campaign is saved.

I had a problem with my info file too until I remembered - by reading THE tutorial (thanks BB) - that you have to save it as an ini file. It should appear as a blue notebook icon, not a little white pad icon.

The info file is saved like a normal mission, but containing nothing but a basic map. The mission name is used as the campaign name, and the Full breif is used as the campaign description.

The video file is not needed either, it's just a convenient place to put tracks. Its only the location in the campaign file which needs to correspond with the location of the track file. So, for example, i could put my track files in a folder titled "hedgehog", but id need to change, for example
"Missions/Campaign/NN/Acampaign/video/videoname.ntrk"
to "Missions/Campaign/NN/Acampaign/hedgehog/videoname.ntrk

Nope. Been busy finishing up a fictional pirates of the Slot one. Next I have to finish one paper for an MA in Applied Linguistics - reeeeaaallllyy hating it and I've only just started the course- and THEN I can really get onto that bomber one. Really looking forward working on it though. I've always wanted to fly this kind of thing so I guess I'll have to make it myself.

Today was pretty cool here but otherwise it's been a really lovely autumn - about 22 C, got to 26 the other day. All in all, kind of like a summer back in NZ but without those lovely long evenings.

But no seriously, I just do little tactical things that are very loosely historical. That should be "did" and "will again before long". It's been a while!

More focus on just the character. I'm not big on historical skins and the like, and I'd prefer to avoid a public 'skinning' for releasing something as erroneous as that. He he.

Well maybe the Persecutor map will be out for your strategic bombing number. Could be a good fit!

I am new and I've made an campaign. I did everything, there are no spaces in the names, the .mis files mach with the names in the campaign.ini file but the campaign doesn't show up. Can you tell me what I did wrong?

It could be any one of a hundred different things. It is impossible to answer your question with the limited information you have provided. See the other thread you posted on.

Ok, I shal give you some more info.

all the names of the missions in the campaign.ini file match the .mis files.

there are no spaces, special characters. just normal letters. instead of spaces i used - and _ .
I've putted all the files in my campaign folder under an nation (dutch in this case).
but it still doesn't work. Can you please tell me what i did wrong?
