I recently re-installed my operating system (XP 32) and Farcry2. When I go into the game, I cannot adjust the video options past the defaults.If i do it goes back to the desktop....
I have corei7 920, 6g ram, Nvidia GTX 285.

Try updating your video drivers since the OS reinstall.
