This weekend see’s your chance to participate in a massive online session of Far Cry 2 furthermore those taking part will also have the chance to win some great prizes.
The game will be run on the beastly "vmesx fc2" - a high spec server wtih intel Xeon MP 7400 series processors. Hundreds of players will be served by this single server for a total of 40 Virtual servers hosting 16 players per session over this entire weekend.
More importantly, there are some major prizes to be won including a custom Far Cry 2 gaming PC.
Why the hell would someone want another copy of FC2 when they already have one?.... Pretty lame deal for servers to be offline if you ask me. Still have a broken game.. Yay for Ubi!
"To determine the winners we will join a random server anonymously and pick out a handful of players on the server. We will stay on the server for half an hour to see whether one or more of these players stay on and play actively during this time frame. Among the chosen and active players we will randomly choose a player and note his nickname and unique game id. The winners will be announced on the ESL page after the test with their nicknames, and have to state their unique ids to us in order to be identified."
hi ever1, i know this not the right topic but when i swim in the water, i can't find any fish or big 1 around, or why is there no snake or crocrodiles in the swamp, wow that'll be great fun, hopefull the developer of fc will read this & add them in the next fc series, because i love hunting crocrofile & snake & lion-tiger, anyway is there a update for fr wild animals in this game?.
