Planes that SHOULD be added into Lockon:

Eurofighter Typhoon
British Tornade F3 ADV (air defence variant)
Dassault Rafale
SU-27 Flanker Advanced Upgrades: SU-30MKI or SU-35
F-15E Strike Eagle
Make F/A-18C flyable
F/A-18E Super Hornet
B-2A Spirit (they include F-117, B1B Lancer and not this. Why?
MIG-29 Fulcrum Advanced Upgrades: MIG-29K, MIG-29M ------- -----------------------make this flyable
Remove F-14 Tomcat (if not upgrade the F-14A to the F-14D)
MIG-21 Fishbed (A LOT OF AIR FORCES STILL USE THE MIG-21)

several of these planes are 2 seat planes, so they cannot be modeled. and can you immagian modeling all of these? these would take many YEARS!

if your talking about AI, then, maybe OK, but still.

What i miss is the MiG-29K from F2.5. they should have used that instead of the MiG-29S.

I don't think there should be any more planes added to the list for scott's reason, but there is a way to fly planes already modelled inside Lock On Flaming Cliffs.

It's a mod that makes all AI aircraft (except 1) flyable. It is just a .xml file that replaces MEinit.xml in the C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\ME.

BE SURE TO MAKE A BACKUP OF THE ORIGINAL MEinit.

If they were add-on flyable aircraft I'd love to see a dynamic add-on like Flaming Cliffs and Blackshark for the F5 E/R types - both single seats.
They are in as AI planes for Turkey so why not.

Then the Grippen.

A4 Skyhawk

F4 single seat version

Tomcat - but with two seats I guess thats out.

"remove f14 tomcat..."(cant quote, on vacation and using a very bad pc Razz ) is it just me or do you really dislike the F-14? not to mention the "why the f14 should never be flyable" post... Razz

Add F14 tomcat not remove it. I love the F14 and i don;t care oifif its an old plane cause i want to do trainign with it like in top gun.

I'd say lock on needs V\STOL aircrat like as JackieDan said the F-35, harrier, YAK-141 etc..

what we really need is some electronic-warfare aircraft. they're one of the components to wild weasel missions. not including them leaves a big hole when it comes to simulating a real war. The EF-111 or EA-6B would be the best planes to add, and the F-16CJ would be nice too for those of you with more modern taste.

I was suprised when I first looked into the game that the B-2 wasn't an AI plane, it should be included.
As for a playable plane, I would like the F/A-18 Hornet as the Russians have a carrier launched fighter. It would be awesome to have a WW2-esque battle scenario between two carriers and their fighters.
