I think the title is self explanatory. We've all had the unfortunate experience of loosing an engine's functionality to a few pathetic flames. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to put it out and at least have the remote possibility of starting the engine up again?

Stay on topic. I agree. The first thing you see in the A10 cockpit are the two big handles labeled FIRE EXTINGUISHER. Even the old B17 sim for the amiga had working extinguishersI think they forgot about it...
