Hi I'm still farly new to lomac so I hope I don't sound too much like an idiot. First off I love lock on I'v been playing combat fligt sims for years, mostly CFS2 and wings over veatnam. Lock on eclipses both of those, and is on step tword my fantisy combat flight sim. Now that thats said There are a few things I'd like to sk and wish for. First off are there any plans for more flyable american aircraft:F-16,F/A-18,F-14? Second Maybe some more maps, like diden't Isrel and ejept{I just spelled that horraply worng) go at it about the same time frame as lockon? All so am I the only one that would love to see ED do a vatnam sim? Maybe as an expansion to LOMAC? and one last thing how about an AI KC-135 for the NATO forses. I'm in the Air force and am a macanick on 135s it would be too cool to refule my vertual F-15 with one, or shoot it down after a bad day at work. Agan grate sim guys.

As for flyable american planes, i'm sorry to say but there aren't that many planned. ED, the devs of this game, is a russian company. And as such they would usually lean towards that side. Lock On version 1.1 added the Su-25T and in the next (soon to be released) addon will be 1.2 featuring the ka-50 black shark. That will be the end of the lock on series and they would move onto tank killers which will probably consist of the A-10, Su-25/T, ka-50 and maybe the apache. And after tank killers they plan to make an F-16 sim (but don't get your hopes up because that would at least be several years until that comes out). By that time, Fighter Ops will come out http://www.fighterops.com/ i think that would be closer to your fantasy sim.

An appache sim wold be fun, but if it has flight physicks anywere neer what I'v seen on other sims it will be a pain to fly. I would like to know more about Fighter ops.

The F/A-18 and F-14 manuals needed by ED to model theses correctly are classified. ED have stated that they wish to model aircraft to a high standard so they will not second guess anything. That is why these are not flyable.

After ED finish 1.2 they are moving on to another 2 sims. The first will model the Ka-50, AH-64, A-10 and Su-25 called "Tank killers" the second will involve the F-16CJ and MiG-29SMT with AFM and WAFM.

i also wanted to add F-14 is a 2 seater, thus cannot be modeled realisticly.

I also want a realistically modeled F-14.(it's alys been my favorite fighter) But the 2 seet thing is tricky. You could switch from seet to seet with some key (Like in one of Jane's sims. I heard that some where, I don't own it.) or you could just fly and AI would do weapons, or vise versa. (Is that cheeting?)Well any way, i would love to see a good F-14 sim and if it were on lo-mac that would be great.
