You have several ways to get Flaming Cliffs
option 1: you can pay to download it off of www.lockon.ru
option 2: since you already have the original game, you can get a cd version of FC from http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/01-store/store-catalog.html
I recommend ordering it from naturalpoint because i prefer a cd version rather than the download version. However, you do need to put in the cd once a week after you patch it up to the latest (1.12a). the download version doesn't have a cd check but it has an activation thing. Once you use it all up, you have to contact them so i say its better to get the cd and avoid all that trouble.
option 3: depending where you live, you can get lock on gold. This has both the original and FC in it but there was some problems with the FC cd in this product so i would stay away from it.

So again, i recommend option 2, but it depends on you.

As for the chinese skin, where did you download it from or was it the same one i helped you find a long time ago? Did you install it through modman and saw a green light

first unzip the zipped filed and read the readme. Put the NOMERA file in Bazar\TempTextures. Then use modman and install the zipped file next to the nomera file.

AznKamiKazeKid - I had a quick look at that skin to see if I could post some help and it seems to be a zip within a zip, never seen that before, so was a bit bemused myself
What is that all about then?
And why has the author included nomera file? Isnt that something to do with the stars on the wings? (from memory )

yea i too never seen that happen before a zip within a zip. Probably because he wanted to include the nomera file and then zipped the entire thing together. It said in the readme that it was his first try so thats another reason why. The author included a nomera file (yes it is with the stars- good memory) because it is the chinese star so therefore could not use the one in lock on with the russian stars.

Yesterday I just got v1.02 for lock on.
I found I can no longer use R-27EM & R-27EA,
and they remove my mirror as well. That's ridiculous!

modman is just like loman. If you don't know what that is, it is basically a tool that we use the help us to install skins/mods faster and easier. You can download modman at http://www.lockonfiles.com/
Just sign up and find modman and install that. All you do is simply load the zipped file into it and press install and you're set.
As for the missiles, i suspect they removed it from some planes to increase realism. And no the mirrors are still there, you have to activate them in the options menu.
As for getting 1.1, where do you live? Maybe you can find one in a store nearby.

hmm, i remember another person on the forum who lived in australia (i think it was madruski). It was hard for him to get FC too. How old are you? The only option i see is if you ask a friend or a parent who has a credit card and help you order FC from naturalpoint.

lol call me mike. and yes there are mods out there that set AI planes as flyables, for example the Su-30. But it still use the Su-27 cockpit, i don't really like it because it ruins the realism. This is mainly used for lock on films, but other people use it to have some fun.

And i never saw a Sudanese skin before, even if i saw it i wouldnt know it was Sudanese because i never heard of it before. Is there any real pictures of their aircraft paint scheme. if its cool, i'm sure someone on this forum or on lockon.ru will make it.

although i know you love china, (i do too) asking for chinese maps, planes...etc would be useless because it won't happen unless they want to do it. And they are a russian team so they will mostly focus on russian planes. Lucky for us, that's similar to the chinese because china usually buy weapons from russia.

there is a software protection on FC cd/download that a lot of people hate, do not join that crowd because if you mention you hate starforce, you could get banned.
