Well I think that most of the Planes should be flyable, not the propler planes but the jet ones. Like the Su-17 and the previos migs produced like my favorite the MIG-21. So could we get more planes to fly in the game. Like the MIG-21 which is still used by current airforces so it is MODERN!
These planes will fit fine into the game since most of the information are not classified and they have single-seats for pilots. The problem is with time. ED (the devs of this sim) appears to be setting a new standard and that is AFM and 6dof with clickable cockpit for every new plane they come out with. With that being said, it takes a VERY long time to build one aircraft. For example, the Su-25T for flaming cliffs took 6 months. The ka-50 for Black shark is taking even longer. So until ED expands more than just around 20 people on their staff, these planes will not see a future in Lock On. Plus, the lock on series ends with Black shark. After that they want to move on and rumors has it, its going to be called tank killers or something. And then after that its an F-16 sim or something. So they already have a lot of plans that would at least cover the next 5-7 yeas.
I am not asking for Flaming Cliffs just make a non clickable cockpit for the classic Russian jets i mentioned. A modder could do that. Why hasn't any one created a mod for the game anyway?
Clickable cockpits are so a turn off to me. Rather than having a clickable cockpit I would just like to see all the commands possible mappable and fully functional and accurate gauges and levers etc.. ( feel more real )

a modder can't do that because ED didn't release tools for us to add it into the game. All models and such have to be submitted to ED for approval and their standards are pretty high. Even if u made a 3d cockpit, they will probably not add it because its not up to their standards.
I'm sorry i think you misunderstood. I was not referring to you, but even if a group of skilled 3d cockpit builders built one and sent it in, its not up to ED's *new* standards of clickable cockpits or 6dof. They want that whether you want it or not.
