I , like many other hardcore simmers play my games in 3D stereovision . When you play lockon in 3D , i mean true 3D with depth perception using the latest nvidia drivers you can get the most unbelivably realistic experience , and couple that with a HMD (i wish i had one , but only have shutter glasses) and track IR , and youve got the real thing right there . Well , apart from one thing , the HUD .
You see , IRL a HUD is actually projected into the pilots eyes via a collimator , which makes the light parallel and not divergent like normal light . As a result you dont need to focus on the HUD to actually see it . So you can see the HUD while your looking at an enemy aircraft your hunting down a couple of miles away and you dont get double vision . ( I think this is correct info).
Theoretically this would be possible , as something which mimics the Real life HUD exhists , the laser sight for the NVIDIA drivers . So it is possible .
I am wondering if anyone else who uses 3D stereo for LOMAC has had a similar idea and wishes to comment on such an idea.

Hehe , yea , when most people play "3D" games these days , they think thats about the best they can get from it , but the fact is theres a whole other dimension you can extend your gaming experience into , and once you go there you gain heightened clarity and situational awareness . And actually , the framerate doesn't drop much at all , if any when i go 3D in LOMAC , and ive only really got a standard system .
