The F-14 has retired, so there is no point of asking for this to be flyable. Let alone implementing a 2 crew situation in the game. The aircraft are so over estimated. There has never been a real-time war kill from a phoenix. In Iraq tomcats fired two AIM-54Cs at MIG-25PD and missed - MIG-25 escaped. The tomcat is about 30% heavier then the eagle and its rate of turn is poor. I know D version has dealt with all the problems and enjoys better subsonic performance than the F-15 and has better radar but its too late now. The cat has retired.

I actually believe that you under estimate the tomcat's abilities. Just as anyone and tey'le agree the cat was a great fighter.

Don't forget the maintenance, more then 50 hours of maintenance per hour of flight

Does Iran still yse those old F-14 tomcats?

Its my understanding that they do still use the old Tomcats, but I don't know that for sure.

I think one of Lock On's major weeknesses (bugs aside)is a lack of a us based carrier fighter. I downloaded the F-18 patch and the Hook and the HUD don't seem to work. In witch case I'd rather fly the F-15 purley on the fact that it has a better air to air load out. Air to ground weapons are usless on the 18 as it shares the same cockpit with the F-15. Like every one els it seems, I also want to fly the F-14, more so than the 18. If someone out there is kind enough to make a mod ('cause I can't seem to find one) using the F-15 platform (a Russian cockpit just woudn't feel right.) please, please make the F$%^&ing hook work.
