Sheesh!! I can see your working very hard on this, each pics looks better and more realistic with each passing day. The model itself looks very round...barely any noticable flat edges at all, except for the engine nozzles, but then again in real life they are made up of many different flat edges like you have them modeled. The mirage F-1 is surely a beautiful aircraft, and you are representing it well.

Keep up the great work, once again, and cant wait to see it textured.

knellknell, can you talk about you, how do you do all that, it's very good what you do, but are you a professionnal? because it's not a beginner's work, tell us about you and your work on the mirage F1

I ve worked with blue prints and some official documentation, found on the net and from some friends of mine. I practiced 3d modelling since 1995 so, i m definitively not a beginner, but not a professional. I ve spend a lots of hours, correcting each vertex of my model, according with the huge amount of picture and print i have. And last but not least, i realy weel know this aircraft, because i flew 5 years with, for 600 flight hours. Maybe it s the reason why he looks good

Wow, great to kno we have a real, skilled, and experienced designer here behind this project..but moreover, YOU WERE AN F-1 PILOT?! Now THATS great, This will be realistic down to what its own pilots remember most and acknowledged the greatest, very interesting. So you were in the French Air force and flew the F-1? May i ask where you were based, and have you logged any kills?

I was based in north east of France. I have flew also Jaguar, 600hrs, and a few more aircrafts for a total of 3.000 flight hours.
And, fortunetly or unfortunetly, i have now kills, just few war mission over Africa, Irak and Bosnia

How long u think ur going too be busy with this project ? untill its done and flyable.

c'est vachement interessant, donc t'etais pilote, moi j'vais bientot commencer la formation de petaf, enfin faut que j'attende le mois de mai, mais bon c'est cool ce que tu fais, j'espere que tu va ameliorer l'armée de l'air dans LOMAC, parceque qu'un 2000-5 ca fait franchement juste ! j'ai hate que tu finisse de mettre tout ca au point ! bonne continuation, et vive la france ! lol
