After some fidling with iL2 setup I lost all my trees? Everything back now as before.
VideoSetting is on perfekt which always gave the trees.
Anyone?

P4 3,2 ghz
Atix1950pro 256mb
2 gigs Ram
Wi XP

I had this happen to me a while back. I found that the forest setting had dropped itself to 0 from 3 in the forest setting in the Render_openGL section of the .config file. I had to reset it to 3 again. No clue why or how it did it!

Have you checked this?

If you Edited your Conf.ini file Do NOT go into Video Setup or IL2 Setup.

Still no trees

check the forest setting sticks to what you set it to.
Especially if you use Vista or 7.

Use Forest=3 - different types of trees and they move in the "wind"

Remember ini files are case sensitive and you can not use leading spaces. Edit with a pure text editor line notepad, not a word processor, and use "save" - not "save as..."

Actually, Forest=3 is the worst thing you can do. There is a known bug where certain tree objects will not be seen, even though they are on the map.

No, I always had forest 2. And it,s still there.
I flew for years without one problem, problem now occured after connecting my 28'' Widescreen

Can you post a pic of what you have and find a pic of what you're missing? I'm not fully understanding what the issue is.

Why dont you keep everything in one topic about the problems after installing the 28 inch screen?
Personaly i think your system just cant handle the high resolution and settings you want to run the game at now, you would have been much better of upgrading your rig instead of buying a huge screen.

Finally my trees are back.
In iL2 set up I ran Ati radeon and flew with it.
Then back at custom, changed resolution in ini and set land details in video at perfect( forest2 in ini).
