Indeed, check with Logitech, as i've heard the stick will work, but they might need to still update their software so you can program keys and commands outside of the game.
I have an Attack 3 i've been using for almost a year now with no issues. Best stick for 15 bucks.
This rumor that the stick is unreliable and breaks in short time sounds like an exaggerated claim, that I've only seen mentioned on this forum. I'm not saying it never happens, but I've never read or seen that anywhere else. I have read several reviews on this product and most users report using their sticks for a couple years with out any trouble, and many replaced this stick with the same stick or another from logitech.
This does not make it the best stick for flight simming, but i think if people knew how far they could get on 15 or 20 bucks they might consider it as an alternative.
I enjoy the stick because it has more buttons than most of the higher end lines. Others claim the higher end sticks to be more accurate than this stick, which is entirely possible, but i just don't think that the sensitivity of Il2 is that extreme where accuracy of the stick is that relevant. In other words, the user can learn to be accurate with any stick they choose, so long as they practice.
Sometimes i wonder if that accuracy is real or imagined. If i spent over 100 bucks on a stick, then i may need to justify why its better than a 20 dollar stick. This could also be where these claims of short lived logitechs come from.
This is also along the lines that you can get a better education at a higher priced college, than you might just using a dollar twenty five and a library card.
