Did you ever sort this out, as I have this problem too, just got new PC with Vista on a widescreen. Its very annoying-there should be an'always on top' option'
I'm running Vista Home Premium 64bit and I figured out a way to get the table to show on top while playing. It's very simple really.
Start your game, either offline or online, and then minimise the game with your windows key (I suppose it will work by alt tabbing as well) and start up the Bombsight Table. Then go back to your game, and you should be able to see the table overlaid on your screen, and the shift + pause/break key should work to hide and show the program again as normal.
A bit annoying I know having to fiddle around to get it to work, but it works this way for me.
I also can't get the bombsight table to overlay into the game. I am running Vista 32 bit. I tried your instructions and it did not work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
i have had no luck either since i went vista 64. most forum links say it can work but even when u run it as xp and admin it still wont overlay. keep searching i guess.

I suspect Sokol is suggesting you try turning the Vista "Aero" features off. This is the stuff in Vista that gives the fancy see through windows when you have multiple windows open and the 3D application toggle using Windows + Tab keys.
When I did that, bombsight table did appear as it should but if I disabled it and enable it again my game freezed. And not to talk about a crappy graphic.
Well anyway, I will switched to XP back as soon as I get a copy of it.
