Like the titlse says, I see it moving fine and well in the in-game configuration tool for IL2 and the calibration software, but when i try to configure it for elevators, it's a no-go.

I think I've seen this before, check your conf.ini file and look at the joystick section where is has all the numbers for the input curves and see if there is one with all zeros. If there is, delete that whole line and then try to map again.

Move the game folder to another location that is not Program Files, ini files in that folder are write protected.

When computers are good, they are very very good. But when they're bad, they're WICKED!

Glad to hear you're up & running again.

Me too !!!
The last nice one for me was window 2000

Do you get all these troubles with Vista Only,
Is your sound problem resolved yet ?

I just installed my never used fron 2005 x52 and pedals on a XP pro system
And all is working like a bomb
I have 2 pilots names for using the twist handle
Another one to use the pedals(I use the twist for setting the rudder trim)Soit is not wasted.

I am now trying to familliarise myself with it and tha pedals
+ I am trying to find a way to KEEP Brakes ON
by using Saitex profile editor
The macros are fine but there is no "repeat until" it is cacelled by another "key"
For instance Toggle 2 set hand brake
.............Toggle 1 release hand brake
