I set everything up offline and have all my controls and graphics selections made but when I went online everything was back to stock? Are there 2 separate files for controls and graphics? I'm running Windows 7 RC and remember there being a false conf.ini which the game is refering to for online play?

Try doing a search of your harddrives for conf.ini and see if it comes up with more than one copy.

Yes, there is another. One is a compatibility version and the other the original. This is going to be aggravating if I have to update both everytime I make a change! Updating did fix the problem. I wonder what other users of Windows 7 have done?

The thing is that Windows 7 creates a virtual conf.ini and places it in virtual store for compatibility purposes. Looks like IL2 gets confused about which one to use.

I found this sticky which I need to investigate as well as I think Windows 7 has many similarities with Vista. Also, I'm running 64 bit.
