Hi cobra i have to admit ive never seen this game before but i did see your addon for this which made me more intrested ive purchased the il2 1945 and the forgotton battles i have since downloaded your mods battle of britain hurricane season and the spit addon the second part the only problem i have is im not sure which il2 you need and i triued in 1945 il2 and i cant get it to work i did follow your instructions but im not sure if ive done it right please help

This should have been started in the Mission Building forum. So I will create a shortcut to it so those guys that frequent that forum can see it also.

create a folder called il2 sturmovik forgotten battles`

im not sure if that is exact but u will see that is where it tries to copy to so ul get the actual folder name from there.

unzip or run the exe (forget which) into that folder (it may say error but keep doing it it does eventually instal

thenlook in the folder u installed it to...and also look in your game 1946 folder

then manually add all the files in the relevant folders to your 1946 folder.

basically the folder name changed with the 1946 addon so i doesnt go in correctly.

i think im refering to the one you refer to, im playing hurricane season on 1946 instal now so it will work

this is what u are told to do....

• Unzip to your desktop or other working area, be sure you have "Use folder Names" checked.

• BattleofBritain FOLDER - Drop the entire folder into your GB folder. (C:\Program Files\IL2 FB\Missions\Campaign\GB) *NOTE* Do Not rename the BattleofBritain folder.
• SKIN FOLDERS - Copy the contents of each skin folder into the respective skin folder in your IL2 installation. (C:\Program Files\IL2 FB\PaintSchemes\Skins\*Plane type*)
• Background.TGA - A campaign load screen background. Drop it into your GB folder. *Backup or rename your stock TGA first. (C:\Program Files\IL2 FB\Missions\Campaign\GB)
• BOB_Map.jpg - Full color printable map, will print on a standard 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper. Helpful for immersion and understanding briefings.
• Go fly! (After reading acknowledgements, of course.)



you need to change this part (below) and move the files to your 1946 folder which will look more like....

(C:\Program Files\ubisoft/IL2 sturmovik 1946\Missions\Campaign\GB)

so you would drop the entire `BattleofBritain` folder in your `gb` folder

then skins would go here...C:\Program Files\IL2 sturmovik 1946\PaintSchemes\Skins\*Plane type*

move the other files as it explains but to this path, or whereever u installed it(the game)

then have fun on the 1st mission*evil laugh*.....dont let it put you off though, campaign rox!
