I have a bit of a newb question. Had the game now (IL-2: 1946) for a few weeks. I have a general idea of how to find ground targets ie cars, trucks etc. most of which rely on flying low. What I'm interested in is some kind of waypoint or blip on my screen to show me the course I need to take. Vector to target on such and such a heading. Is there any way in the game I can get such a course, or a visual marker to show me where to fly to, esp. for airborne targets? Any help would be nice. Thanks in advance.

Press "M" and you will see your minimap path.
If not go to your Difficulty Settings and leave "No Map Icons" and "No Minimap Path" unchecked.
