In the first link, only an older version is available for download. The second link has nothing to do with FOV Changer. Brilliant addition and major leap from ealier versions.
3 gripes left: 1, x52 not detected nor pickable (I guess due to the Non-OS config program the x52 uses there are no entries in XP's internal input device control list). So with no zoom axis being chosable up to now you must fiddle with programming macros, their ensuing conflicts and the little glitch SAN-FoV won't accept numbers like "1" assigned to zoom views in the "advanced"-box - I get Draw.Box error pop-ups upon reopening SanFoV anytime the mouse hovers across. 2, Clouds drawn on the utter parts of your view are quite edgy i.e. offer reduced detail (sure an il2 way to save power and add to performance). Does il2's new land geometry settings resolve that? 3, Maybe due to the fiddling with macros and reassignments via editing zoom-stages in both SAN-FOV and Saitek's programming software my gameplay now suffers from various little stutters and hick-ups. Unlike playing without SAN-FoV where x52's band macros like "Alt"+"Q" set as e.g. fov 70 in Il2's customized pilot settings won't render any performance probs. Keep up the good work! Your latest progress is terrific. Greets, muffinstomp |

don't know why the direct link isn't working, but extreme ones right, the latest version is on that page linked in my last post and again here,
http://il2fovchanger.byethost7.com/ scroll down to download latest version, its called "san's il2fov changer release candidate(corrected)" it doesn't seem to want to let me direct link for some reason though, One thing to add, it now works perfectly with the zoom function thats part of 6dof for all those that use that fruitbat U___1)Nazi Germany built all the best things and won teh war. It is totally awsome. The only problem is, that the final version doesn't work on my windows 7, but the last beta does, so no big regrets
EDIT: Oh, there seems to be problem... I can't change view (gunsight, normal, wide) without restarting it. Is this fixed in final version? Did someone managed to make it work under windows 7? This message has been edited. Last edited by: telesien, |

Oh great! I didn't see this before!
Nice find! Yskonyn - "Pilots don't die, they just fly away." My recommended Must-Haves: IL2 DCG, IL-2 MAT Manager, San's IL-2 FOV Changer. |
