Ok, as you can see from the title of the post, I have a slight problem here. I just got 1946 installed on my new computer, the game is running perfectly, the only problem is that the 4.08m patch doesn't seem to be installing properly. I downloaded the patch, ran it, installation goes ahead, appears to complete, but when I start up the game, it is still 4.07m. I checked to see if it was showing 4.07, but was actually 4.08, and no, it wouldn't let me join a 4.08 server. I also tried downloading the patch from a different site, just in case the patch was bad or something, but I have the same result. I'm kinda out of ideas here, so I would really appreciate some help on this.

The patches for il2 are simply self extracting zip files, so it's most likely unzipping to a folder other than your game folder, try to find that and then just copy the patch contents into the game folder and overwrite.

You are confusing me here. Which version does the loading screen show you? Also, you have to check each server to see which version they are running, as there are several running the 4.09 beta.

That was it. The problem was that it was extracting the files to the Ubisoft folder in the Program Files, instead the the Program Files(x86). It works now, thanks for the help.
