For months now I have been getting a page containing nothing but "System Error" when trying to log onto the site using my original account name and password. After getting no help from UBI supprt, I created a second account with a new e-mail address (which gets forwarded to my real email account). After using the new account a few times, it started getting the same error. This is my 3rd account, but the e-mail address is bogus. But, at least have been able to use it for a few months now.

Is there any way to kill the 2 accounts that I can't use. I would like to get my e-mail address correct on this account, but I can't because the address is still in use in my original account.

If you use Firefox try "Tools/Clear Private Data (Ctrl+Shift+Del)"

I need to do this from time to time.

Tried all that stuff already. This login is still working, but my original and the second one I created still get that error. The interesting thing is that I can still login at the UBI main site with my original login. Just can't get into the forums.

BMoffa1, some forum members have had errors attempting to log in after changing their profiles. I'll contact you by PM and we'll work from there.

Ooh well Tully. That's sounds hopefull to me! I have the same problem as BMoffa1. Sad
I got the same white "System Error" message over and over again since a long time. Then I used another email account and in a few weeks time the same old song. I posted a thread about this issue with my third(!)account and the moderator Bearcat99 let me know that the system hic ups from time to time.
http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/49310655/m/816...161024436#8161024436

Even the Ubisoft Solution Centre/ Support Desk couldn't help me out finally. They gave me some tips about cleaning cookies, history ect. but no succes. Smash Hammer
If you want you can PM me and hopefully I can use my original account.
Just in case I can't log in anymore and am not able to read the PM I will leave my temp email account here: #########
(it is not such a clever idea to do so but I rarely use this old account) Wink

As I mentioned to BMoffa, the problem generally happens after changing your profile. Just don't try adding any extra information (like Country, Zip Code etc..) to your profile and you should have no problems.

PM sent.

Hi Tully__,
Thanx in advance for your quick reply but unfortunately it is not possible anymore to log in with the account I used yesterday. I noticed this after shutting down my PC and restarting today. Unfortunately I am not able to read the PM you sent me. Sad
Therefor this fourth and last possibility. Hammer
At your advice I won't go to my profile and changing or adding anything like I did the other times when I added an avatar. ( a pity anyway that I can't do that anymore)
If you want you can PM me to this account or to the emailadress I gave you yesterday.

Before I get in trouble again I won't log out now or shut down my PC. Just in case Wink2

Oooh, by the way my original account is:

Maybe this should become a sticky.

I think it should be featured also seeing as some have been getting this error when trying to login to the forums.

Yeah, it is quite frustrating that this happens and not knowing why and how to fix it.
But any help here is welcome.
I have seen some other people here dealing with this problem. But ofcourse they can only discuss this log in problem if they subscribe again by using another name and emailaccount.

Here is another example:
http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/49310655/m/9081082046

And if you go for the Find/Advanced Search option you will see more people with the same problem as me. I noticed it is not just a IL2 thing but it occurs at all Ubisoft Forums.

Give it a couple of hours then try again with all of your previous accounts. They should all work now as I've deleted the extra information from the profile.

They should continue to work provided you do not put extra information in your public profile, especially country. Leave all these fields blank.

Wow, thanx Tully__! I can login again with my original account! Party Hat Veryhappy

Maybe it is a good idea to announce this somewhere when people wants to sign up or when they want to change/ add something to their own profile. Because it is quite annoying and frustrating when you want to join a discussion and not being able to do so.

Thanx Tully for helping me out!

I removed the location from my profile and now I often get the 'white page' labeled '"system error" or simply cannot log in at all.

So what do I do now?

I get the system error myself now too. Only sometimes, and the second time I try I do get into the forum.

I had to change a link in my sig a while back.

I've not changed any other info in my profile.

weird.

It's been happening to a lot of people, me included.
It seemed to get worse after midnight GMT on Friday, after a particular Ubi server crashed, since then, I keep getting the error, but eventually manage to get logged in.

Thanks for the explanation BTOG46.

It's not too bad at the moment. The second try works for now.
I was in doubt if it was related to me editing my sig. Probably not.
