Hi. I'm on Windows 7. I've done a complete reinstall of the game starting with 4.08 cd, trouble is the game won't start from either the short cut or the exe file inside the game. I just get a "spinning CD" symbol and then nothing. The CD is still in the drive, so it's not that. Anyone got a fix?

Thanks

Mate, here is the fix. For Windows 7 you have make sure your Hyperlobby Folder is NOT installed in the default Program (x86) folder on C Drive. Instead install the folder as a standalone on C Drive itself. The same applies for Teamspeak and Trackir5. I Don't know why but I and all my Windows 7 friends had to do the same to get the programs to function properly. Until I did this I couldn't get the game to run online through Hyperlobby, now it's sweet!

HI, same problem as Macka as well....sadly his answer doesn't help me.

I don't play online (you're all too good!), just want to get it working at home.

Running 32 bit Windows 7 ( I know, but I've been scared off 64-bit by Vista)

How many "friends" you got?

HL and TS work perfectly fine here under Windows 7 on all 3 my systems wen installed in the default location.

All you need to do with HL is to edit the skin file and chance everything with more then 2 "." in it to ".." and the default skin and buttons work again. (copie the file to desktop, edit it and place it back)

If you cant get the game to install from the disk, browse the disk and run "a.exe" and it should install fine.

If the game does not run wen you already have installed it, contact an Admin/Moderator like Urufu_Shinjiro or FoolTrottel and they help you further.
