Hi. I am having a problem with the most recent Nvidia driver [191.07] this has happened twice, each time I upgrade from 186.18 to 191.07 everything appears fine, but then I notice that the resolution selection table has changed? [ there is no 1600x900] and then i find that both FB and 46 will not start. I am sure that the driver installation is correct[ ticking the box, remove display driver only]
system..9800GT card vista 32 4 gig ram I like to keep my system upto date but now it seems i am stuck with an out of date driver,I write this to see if anyone else is having the same problem. Cheers. JM
I dont know why it does that but you could try just to install the new driver with out removing the old driver.
btw, the nVidia drivers are a packadge op the nVidia controle panel, PhysX, OpenGL and the Graphics Driver.
I take it 1600x900 is your monitors native resolution? It should list that than in any case, if not check that its seing the screen correctly, and if you got more than 1 monitor or/and a TV hooked up make sure your trying to configure the right device.

I shall check out the resolution ,but thats only part of the problem, what about not being able to start up both FB and 46[ will not auto start,or clicking on desktop icon?] And what about the suggestion of installing the new driver over the old? without first removing the old old first?.I may be wrong, but I always thought that was not the done thing?

That the games not start is probably due to the resolution not being correct.
Itas not a problem if you install a new nVidia driver with out removing the previous one, atleast not aslong as the previous driver isnt to old.
If you had an ATI card in the past and than fit an nVidia card you will have to make sure non of the ATI graphics drivers are left on your system.

nVidia will let you know wen it checks the Install if you need to remove the old version (or part of it) wen needed, if it just installs over the old than everything should be fine.
