Yeah, whenever I get online through hyperlobby, my TrackIr wants to change to a different position and I can't reset it with my hotkey. I have to Alt-Tab out of the game and reset it from the program. Its really annoying. The hotkey works fine offline though. I'm using Vista, and TIR4 btw.

What is the hotkey you are you using?

Looks like it's a key that's also programmed for some other function, only available/active when playing online...

Are you using TeamSpeak as well?

I don't think I have any conflicts concerning TrackIr and the game at least, but no I'm not using Teamspeak. I'll check again though.

Hmm I don't think its an TrackIr problem anymore. I noticed that alot of the "f" keys that work normally offline don't work online (ex. cant use f7 view). I can still use f1,f2,f3 at least right now... Ill check others though.

Some of your F keys will not work online if for example you have F7 set for outside views,and the server settings do not allow outside views then it won't work.As to the TiR problem no idea sorry.

I occassionaly run into this if I am switching between sims ie. FSX and IL2. Stopping and restarting TIR fixes this for me.

Ok well Ive been playing on a externals on server (SOV) so thats not the problem. I tried changing the hotkey, but that didn't work either. I hope its just as simple as restarting TrackIr.

Same problem encountered by our Squad host, also using vista and unable to re-center TIR from Hyperlobby, hence we've been joining on IP these past few weeks.

Tried F ,num pad and alpha keys, and set "exclusive "in TIR still no fix found.

Seeing as TIR is a sponsored ad on HL you think they'd find a fix.

I haven't seen this issue before.......

Have you tried assigning the hotkeys, within the TrackIR software profiles to something like pause/break, scroll lock, print screen?

I have an old track ir 1.

I need to make sure that I use the default Function KEYS with it (and nothing else). Otherwise it gets weird.

So...I install (flight program name here)...Double check which keys track ir uses by default (then turn it off). Launch sim go to controls, and remove any and all key bindings/mappings to those default track ir keys. Problem solved (for me).

So I launch IL2, in flight, I hit F8, F9, or F12 (I believe) . Sim sees/knows nothing. Only track ir responds.

Same rule applies for Right Control key (that's my Team Speak Push To Talk)
