Out of the blue, suddenly I cannot do anything in FMB. I load a map (tried several different ones) but when I try to INSert an object (aircraft), nothing happens. Any ideas about how I can get this working again...or what might have happened?

I know that if you have the console mode opened (hit tab and shift to open it) then you can't press control and the mouse button to place an object.

Maybe hit tab and shift and see if it works again. And use the window key, not alt+tab to go to desktop--if you use alt+tab for some reason the next time you hit shift the game will think you hit shift and tab and then it will open the console thingy.

Also, some mods will cause FMB issues, if you installed anything recently try disabling it or turning off mods all together.

Also, check the contents of your conf.ini file, the [Hotkey builder] section should have lines like these in it:
Insert=insert+
NumPad-0=insert+

With this issue, and as you are using mods, go ask where you got the mods from.
