I was able to connect to my friend in multiplay,then one day no more. I restored my xp operating system back to the day I was able to connect. I was then able to connect again. I minimized my game, sent my pal a mission or two through my Outlook email program and shazam, I can no longer connect..However, I can connect to Hyperlobby, I am not sure what is changing.. Thanks in advance for your assistance with this issue.

Either your firewall but more than likely your router, if you have one. Have you port forwarded port 21000?

I am on telus and they use a seimens se567. I am not firewalled. And windows firewall is disabled. I have not port forwarded as of yet. I don't know a lot about this stuff. I don't understand why it would let me connect one time and then not another. If you could explain this to me I would appreciate the help. I will try to port forward 21000.

Does look like it is your router that needs to be port forwarded to 21000. Follow this link for your router. Then select il2 Sturmovick and follow the instructions there.

If you were able to connect before without port forwarding, you were lucky.

How did you make out? Do you need any more help?

I was able to port forward successfully. I tested the port with their port checking tool and all is well. I have not been able to check to see if I can now connect with my pal as I had to go away for a few days of R&R.
