No, not the Sydney Cricket Ground,

The Southern Cross Gruppe!

Announcing the arrival of the largest specialist Axis IL2 Unit!

IV/JG1, II/JG4 and KG66 have merged in an orgy of tracer fire to form this elite new unit.

The unit currently consists of 18 regular flyers and is already in involved in campaigns against allied units, such as RAAF and 450.

If you are an Aussie looking for a new unit, we can provide you with a venue to learn the skills and graduate to become an elite Fighter or Bomber pilot.

SCG is a full real unit, we don't fly with externals or icons in our campaigns. The campaigns themselves are as historically accurate as the game will allow.

If you want a unit that will prepare you for the Luftwaffe onslaught in Battle of Britain:Storm of War, then SCG is it!

Go to,

http://www.scfightergruppe.com

or here, to view the current campaign in Kursk,

http://www.southerncrosswar.com/index.html

See you in the sky!

The SCG juggernaught is rolling along nicely in Kursk.

Can the allies sustain these losses?

Check out the Southern Cross War link above for the latest mission results!

A reminder to all Aussies that Southern Cross War is still in full swing!

Tired of sitting in Hyperlobby waiting for a Co-op to start? Profile That's just silly!

Have a crack at SCW. We'll have you in the air not long after first mission start at 8:30pm EST.

Yes I said first mission start, because most nights we fly two missions and you can be tucked up in bed by 10:30! Big Grin

This keeps the wife/significant other happy and prevents you from sleeping in and missing school/work the next day. Thumbs Up

Its win/win blokes!

Try the links above, register at the SCW page and we'll see you on any one of the nights we fly. Be warned though, SCW is growing in popularity and some nights are dedicated to entire squads but quite often there will be seats available if you just want to dip your toe in the water to see if its your thing.

Best nights to look for a SCW event on Hyperlobby are Thursday and Sunday.

See you there!! Metal

A big well done to [450]Target! bow

Flown 9 SCW missions for 15 kills and yet to die. As difficult as it is to see an Allied pilot at the top of the table its just reward for some very good flying.

We'll be dropping a case of the finest Champagne over your base soon Targ, we'll tell you when and where to stand...exactly where to stand to recieve it mate. Wink

Are you an Aussie or Kiwi that isn't registered for SCW?

Guess what, you're probably the last bloke not to get involved in SOUTHERN CROSS WAR, Australia's premier on-line IL2 Campaign! bow

Take a gander at who is already involved and if your squad isn't on this list then you need to be having a stern chat with your CO! Demonic

It's not too late to register and as you can see, there will be no shortage of mates to help you out.

See you up there!!!

Here's an idea of the number of missions flown in SCW since the last post.

As you can see, Southern Cross War is going great!

If you want a piece of the action and you're not in a squad already involved then whack a post up here and we'll help you get involved.

Cheers,

SC/KG_Gog

Is the campaign at Kursk coming to a close? Can the allies fight back with their one remaining base??

The next campaign is in the planning stages now and we are off to Italy, in mid 1943, so if you are not currently involved then sign up!

We are a friendly bunch and you'll enjoy every minute of flying in Australia's premier Campaign system, SOUTHERN CROSS WAR!

The Southern Cross War Campaign in Kursk has finished with a resounding victory to the Axis forces!

A big well done to all the Australian units that took part and also all the pilots from Oz and New Zealand!!!

So we won't be flying anymore and will take a few months off.....NOT!!!! Winky

The next SCW Campaign, the Invasion of Italy in 1943 isn't far away, so get your self and your unit registered on the SCW page,

http://www.southerncrosswar.com/index.html

and we'll see you in sunny Italy very soon!!!
