I was a very active member of GH squadron before I joined the army, and now (many years later) that I am done with my commitment I have time for IL2 again. But it seems while I was gone GH has disbanded, and I am now looking to find another squadron to fly with.

I am rusty for certain, but do not need to be trained from scratch. I have been practicing in hyperlobby coops and single player campaigns. Am also hoping for squadrons involved in online wars as I find the added realism and purpose to missions makes it alot of fun, but I do not know whether any of them are still around and strong. I only see Air Force missions in hyperlobby going on reguarly.

Several of our pilots have also been flying since the first release. We actually have several squadrons under our umbrella as we all like to fly pretty much anything and don't restrict ourselves to the aircraft of any one air force.

Have a look at our website at http://www.virtualfightersquadrons.com/ and drop us a line in our General forum if you'd like to talk things over with some of us.

We are in the US, with members on the East and West costs. We fly as many online wars as we can find (currently including Forgotten Skies and Air Force War) but also fly coops via HyperLobby or direct connect.

4./JG 53 is actively looking for Bf 109 pilots. We are active in Forgotten Skies. FS usually has around 80 to 90 players per mission. Missions run 3 times a week - Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday at 9:20 PM eastern. Missions are 90 minutes long and are DF server based. This means no AI, no endless restarts for those who can't take-off and it allows the possibility of multiple sorties per mission. Using the dedicated server software and a server donated by the Fallen Angels Squadron we can get 90 players into the game with plenty of ground units etc... to fight over. Each side has access to a TS server. FS is a full war - meaning territory can and does change hands with the side commanders having control of their ground forces. All types off missions are flown.

II./JG 1 and 7./JG 77 both fly in Forgotten Skies and depending on what types of aircraft you like to fly would be a great choice.

4./JG 53 is specifically a Bf 109 squadron. If you like flying Bf 109s and enjoy on line competition, good team work, and full switch settings, then please consider joining up with 4./JG 53. To visit our web page please click on my signature image.

cohort25,

The Fightin' Irish fly co-ops each Friday night and all day Sunday. On Friday, Historic Encounters is a historic campaign that continues for several weeks. Scores are kept and the campaign is flown in either DF or co-ops mode. On Sunday the =FI= fly a series of co-ops designed by our in-house designers. These talented folk are very open to suggestions. Throughout the week we fly co-ops and DFs in HyperLobby.

We fly with/against several other squadrons upon invitation. Our forums are active and full of information needed to enhance our IL2 experiences.

Historic and custom graphics and skins of any type are available to all participants.

There's much more to learn about the =FI= so visit our forums by clicking the picture below.

Good luck in your search,

=FI=Falcon

S! Cohort25,

=69.GIAP= currently fly at least 2 SEOW campaigns per week. These systems combines missions planned by commanders on opposing sides (air, ground and sea) who are blind of their opponents movements to create an on-going campaign of around 3 months with changing objectives. Previous campaigns have included:

Crimea
Balkans
Stalingrad
Spanish Civil War
Invasion of Java
Cuba Libre

Currently, we are involved in a battle of Kursk campaign and in the SEOW Aces Campaign, which is a multi-front SEOW campaign with several squadrons simulating the Barbarossa campaign.
