I am a New Zealand Pilot looking for an online squadron.Im not over 18 so that cuts down the selection abit.
I've worked it out and the squadron would need to fly after 1900hrs Eastern Time USA on Thursday Friday or Satuday. I really want a squadron but no one seems too interested. Please someone reply.
Oh yeah. i a member of Flying Kiwis but that isnt a organised squadron so that should not affect any thing shood it

~S~ Davy!

Though we are mainly a North American based group of pilots, spanning from NJ, PA, TX, and CA, with a few in England, Europe and Australia, why not add in a New Zealnder! Smile We have diverse age ranges also. Being below 18 is not a problem. Most of our pilots are below 21, so you won't feel out of place.
We fly DOGFIGHT style exclusively, and are experienced in both OPEN and CLOSED pit flying, and are currently a ranking squad in the United Squadrons League (a squad competition league). Its a load of fun, and great dogfighting action! Cool

We have organized practices 3x a week. Tuedays(6-8pm Eastern), Thursdays(8-10PM Eastern), and Fridays (Full squad practice: 6-10PM Eastern). Saturdays are usually competition days. Those times should work good for you I would think?

If you want some Virtual dogfighting action, good friendship, and some good, hearty fun, TTU is the squad for you! Team work is our utmost goal, especially in matches and such. We do require a good level of squad and forum participation.

We fly most planes, usually 109s, 190s, Tempests, Spits, Ki-84s, etc, and bombers.

Check out our promo: http://blip.tv/file/1148076/

We'd love to see you stop in if your interested. Visit us at http://tempestunion.com/

Hi,
We are II./JG53 and are a CO-OP group with a worldwide membership split into three sections based upon geographical location. Our largest section by far is our UK / EU section with around 40+ members but our US/CAN section is growing and becomming quite active. Our Aus/NZ section has 8 active pilots and another 2 new recruits who fly two official mission nights per week as well as most other nights for some training flights.
As an established CO-OP group with over 80 members with around 40-50 active, we are looking for BF109 pilots from all over the world to fly Co-op missions with us. We have three sections, one based in the UK/EU, one in the USA/CAN and another based in AUS/NZ, all are operational and have plenty of active and dedicated pilots all waiting to welcome you into the group!

We have no age limits however all we ask is that you are a mature person who will fit in with a group that is made up of people of many different ages ranging at present from 14 - 60+, I have to admit though it is rare for someone who is under 15 to be admitted to the squadron as they rarely show the maturity needed but we always give people a chance.

We fly using 1946 patched to the latest full version and have recently started to use our own JG53 mod pack that was compiled to ensure enhanced realism and additional maps/flyables whilst remainging balanced and fair for all members. We are currently operating over Smolensk in Mid 1943, we are currently flying the BF109G4.
We allow our pilots to fly in other IL2 squadrons providing mission times don't clash - we do this as we know some people like to have a co-op squad and an online "wars" squad as well as those who enjoy being in an "axis" squad and a different "allies" squad. So if you're looking for a CO-OP squad to fly with, id ask you to consider joining us here at II./JG53.

You've probably seen a fair few of us messing about on Hyperlobbby the past few days, if you've enjoyed flying with us, or just watching to random banter then feel free to drop by our forums and say hi, no obligation to join!

You can find our website here; http://www.IIJG53.com
With a link to the forums and "sign up" in the navigation bar as well as our Roster, Awards and News pages!

Hope to see you in the air with us soon!

Thanks both of you for your interest. I like the look of both Squadrons but the Flyning times of the tempest union suit me better as i can attend 2 of the flying times instead of only 1 in JG53.

However, i need to know, what is Ventrilo and Xfire and what vesion of IL2 the Tempest union flies on e.g 4.08 or 4.09. thanks again for both of you.

Hey Davy,

Ventrilo are our voice coms. Its like Team Speak.

Xfire is a program that is mainly for chat. It also allows you to join online games that you have, like servers for IL2. It also shows who is playing a game, and what game. Its really a great program.

Free download at www.xfire.com
Ventrilo: www.ventrilo.com

Alos, I forgot to add. We usually fly 4.08. Sometimes we'll fly 4.09, but 90% of the time, it is 4.08.

Davy,

If 1900ET is good for you, the Fightin' Irish have a co-op session on Thursdays stating at 2030ET. We have activities all week long for our European and NA mates. Have a look in our forums and see what we can offer you.

Best of luck,

=FI=Falcon
