'Chuffy's Heroes' is a new Squadron celebrating the superb 'IL2 1946' game in a 1940's comic book style and is now open to new members!

In-between cucumber sandwiches we 'have at the enemy' in a gentlemanly fashion, but are always home in time for tea and medals. We have a dedicated server which runs evenings and all over the weekend and we also host weekend co-op missions on a set basis.

So what do you need to join? All you need is a stiff upper lip, a slick & sculpted hair-do and have an appreciation of the importance of freshly pressed flying overalls when engaging the enemy!

I have been a member of Chuffys heroes for a couple of months now and what I have seen to this point impresses me .

1. Very well lead squadron by folks that seem to have a firm grasp on "How much is too much" from a leadership point of view.

2. Well made and exciting co-op missions flown every Sunday as well as a good "Prang" on the Chuffys dog fight server on Tuesdays.....In my opinion something for everyone to be found here.

3. No Bickering !! haven't heard a cross word since I joined ( Yeah ok ! I shot Hammer down by accident last week and expect to hear about it for a week or two )

Chuffys Heroes are currently running an in-house campaign created by none other then Chuffys master of mission based mayhem Badger This time around the lads are flying in support of the Normandy invasion...great stuff !!!!!!!add to that all aircraft are equipped with in-flight drinks cabinets including Wilkins latest work of art The Extended drinks cabinet version of the Beaufighter Mk21.Challenging missions flown with a tight knit squadron of rogues...what more could you ask for ?

After our North West Europe Campaign, some Rotter has blagged about our bar bill, so we've had to make a dash to New Guinea to avoid any beastliness involving 'settling up'!! They even created a poster about it!!



Gentlemen, we need pilots who can wear a pith-helmet and enormous shorts but can still carry-off the required eliquence of Beau Brummell in the cockpit, all whilst hammering the Blues!!

We are just about to embark on a brave new campaign over Europe in 1944 and need courageous pilots who can flick a roll and not blub if they spill their pint whilst doing it!

We also require bomber pilots to join our new bomber flight. If you can see through clouds and drop your cookies at least a mile within the target area then this could just be the job for you!

Remember: At Chuffy's, your drop-tanks will always play a major part in all missions because that's where we store the beer!

Tally Ho Noble IL-2 Flyers!

We have 4 missions to go in our Russian Front campaign and word is from the Rubber-neckers in HQ that we're being transported back to 1941 for the next jaunt to perform in a Circus or something! The Chaps are frantic and beer rations have had to be increased! Don't worry Chaps!!

I've been a member of this squad since September. A complete novice at online flying, the lads were very patient with me until I got myself up to speed. Settings are realistic but the atmosphere is relaxed. A definite thumbs up!

Want to fly with a bunch of seasoned professionals who know what the whirly thing is for at the front of the plane?...

Getting fed up of being shot down countless times on different servers?...

Well join the club and join Chuffy's Heroes - where there's an endless supply of aircraft and the ground crew always have a nervous look on their faces!!

We've been inspected and passed eventually!!
