Hello.
I am a new player when it comes to IL2, I was wondering if there where any mature squadrons who accept British players out there who are looking for pilots and are willing to train a newbie. I am pretty eagar to get into the IL2 scene since peacefully flying around in FS2004 takes up an afternoon just to learn navigation and without a helping hand it can be frustrating. If squadron is interested I am willing to offer details and join as soon as possable. Ta, ta. |

II./JG53 is looking to expand its membership base throughout the world!
Most of our members are British, although we do have an ever increasing amount of Americans. All our members are fluent Enlgish speakers so communication isnt a problem. I myself and several others are in the lovely London. We are looking for BF109 pilots from all over the world to fly Co-op missions with us.We fly using 1946 patched to the latest version, generating our co-op missions using Lowengrins Dynamic campaign generator. We are currently operating in Normandy during Mid 1942 flying the BF109G2. We allow our pilots to fly in other il2 squadrons providing mission times don't clash - we do this as we know some people like to have a co-op squad and an online "wars" squad as well as those who enjoy being in an "axis" squad and a different "allies" squad. So if you're looking for a CO-OP squad to fly with, id ask you to consider joining us here at II./JG53 We do not have age limits and as such yo uwill find a varied age range within the squad as well as different geographical positions. All we ask is that you are mature and that you enjoy flying as part of a team of friends. There are many squads out there so please consider carefully to make the best choice for YOU. Good luck! You can find our website here; http://www.freewebs.com/jagdgeschwader53/ With a link to the forums and "sign up" in the navigation bar. Regards, Valantine Zimmermann Kommandeur II./JG53 Major Valantine Zimmermann II./JG53 Kommandeur 4.08 co-op Squadron Recruiting!!! Recruiting BF109 pilots throughout the globe! The Tangmere Pilots is a primarily British organization - although we have members in Europe, North America, and Australia - who represent four squadrons (No1, No.43, No.145, and No.601) who flew from RAF Tangmere, and RAF Westhampnett during the Battle of Britain.
We have around 35 active members in TP, most of which are in their 30s and 40s. I am the youngest, I believe, at 27. Although W/C Mothy thinks I am the same age as Leslie Phillips. We fly Tuesdays 20:00-22:00 U.K. time(dogfighting with the real Germans of II/JG54, and then squadron training), Fridays the same time for co-ops, and Sundays for career missions. We are currently recruiting for vacancies in our squadrons. Here is a video of what we do: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-n-B9R9LPM Do drop by the website, where you will find a recruitment link if you are interested. You can also say "hello" in the guest forum. www.tangmerepilots.co.uk . if you do decide that the TPs sound like a good fit for you, you will enter No.6 OTU at Sutton Bridge under the direction of F/Lt. Tigertoo. After passing four flight assessments, to make sure we are a good fit for one another, you'll then go operational and receive a posting to one of our four to begin your Tangmere career. Actually, I could do with a Green 3! P/O Hatter DFC, Green Section Leader, No145 Squadron, Sector "A" 11 Group, RAF Fighter Command. www.tangmerepilots.co.uk |
