I am here to introduce the War Hawks. We are a collection of like minded individuals who enjoy flying IL-2 as well as other sims in as close to realistic settings as possible. Our founding members have been flying IL-2 for several years and you most likely know some of us from other squads.

We are looking for like minded pilots regardless of skill level as well as other like minded squadrons to fly on joint operations in co-ops and online campaigns as well as in full switch dogfight servers.

We have an extensive training program to get new members up to speed on our flying style, which includes online classroom sessions as well as a variety of training maps and missions.

Still collecting pilots that are looking for a friendly group of folks to fly with in a multitude of sims. We are currently active in of course IL-2, but also have pilots that are learning the ropes in DCS:Blackshark as well. We also have several members that are active in ArmA on the Tactical Gamer servers, if you're interested in getting in the mud with the grunts.

We will be adding Rise of Flight and ArmA 2 to our list of sims very soon as well, so if a multi-gaming group sounds like your cup of tea head on over and join the fun.

Hi boomer giving you a shout here first, I can only play at certain times, can't play at night i.e. Ireland/U.K so I am limited to daytime. Where are you based and what time do you play?

The War Hawks are mostly a US squad.

Like Snacko said we are primarily a US based group, but we do have a couple folks on the roster from your side of the pond.
We are a very laid back group that doesn't get bent out of shape if you can't make a "squad night". Our philosophy is more of the "Build it and they will come" where everyone has a say in squad activities, be it in IL-2, Blackshark, ArmA, or soon to be Rise of Flight. No one screaming about how "You must respect me because I AM THE CO/XO!" Just laid back fun and sharing knowledge that we gather in the sims we play.

~S~ We are starting to get members looking to fly in Rise of Flight, as well as Blackshark, the original ArmA with the ACE modpack, ArmA 2 and oh yeah we still fly IL-2. *grin*

We're getting new members weekly for the other games we support, and then getting them hooked on IL-2. *grin* What a deal.

Our Slot Campaign has been running for a week now and moving right along with flights nearly every night. For the full switch experience with other experienced pilots you can't go wrong with the War Hawks.
