You'll be wanting to join HL for pacific fighters, not IL2 Sturmovik as its a different EXE file!

Also, you'll get a load of offers but id like to invite you to take a look at II./JG53, we are a CO-OP squad with sections throughout the globe, right now we are quite european based and only have 3 american members however we are slowly expanding our american membership base so you wont have any problems meeting up with us for missions etc.Please feel free to take a look at out website and forums at www.freewebs.com/jagdgeschwader53

Kind Regards,
V

The room to join is the "Forgotten Battles" room. The program that hyperlobby is looking for is the il2fb.exe in the IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 folder. If you have used the default install it will probably look something like this:

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\il2fb.exe

You can just paste that into the game location box.

Although, Stalin knows why I am helping someone get set up just for them to head off and fly for the enemy. Hammer

Hiya, redlight.

Among other things, we have a Luftwaffe squadron organized as 7/JG77. Stop by our forum and we'll be glad to help you with that HyperLobby problem.

We're a US-based squad with pilots in the Eastern, Western, and Central time zones.

Have a look at www.jg51.com if you are still searching. We fly full switch settings and are highly active in the Forgotten Skies online war. We specialize in the Fw 190 when available. Staffel training is every Wednesday. We are all in the US, plus one Canadian.

Hiya & Salute!;

Though I'm a firm believer in being a member of a squadron as without question enhances the simulation 100 fold, I'd suggest you take the time and consider each squadron carefully. Visit their sites, fly with each that inspires you online a bit and get to know them and their demeanor.

It's important they fit your needs and you theirs. Folks are often too anxious to join a squadron and in kind squadrons too anxious to fill their rosters.............After the fact a poor time to decide if you're a good match for one another.

A good place to start would be This Thread . There you will find squadrons active enough to check here though there are many others yet unfortunately the "squadron page" is a maze of dead links or no longer active units...

Good luck in your search Wink2
