After all this time, a dedicated Axis Bomber Squadron has finally been created to fill a desperate need in the skies of Hyperlobby and Scorched Earth!

If flying the workhorses of the Luftwaffe or IJA/IJN is your bag, and you want to fly in a unit that can put several bombers in the air at once, in a nice tight formation and then move serious quantities of mud, then KG66 is the SQN for you!!

We fly high, we fly tight and we blow stuff up!

Applicants must love the bombers and must be team players, knowing that their part in the formation is pivotal to the SQN getting to the target in one piece!

For all the fighter jockeys out there on Hyperlobby, keep an eye out for a large group of really close together dots because the bomber formation is in town and it's here to stay!!

Not much is working and it's a work in progress but it does tell you a little about us!

KG66 flies on a Tuesday and Thursday night, with participation in Scorched Earth once or twice a week.

Seems peeps can't get enough Luftwaffe bombers!

If you live in the Aust/Nz time zone and like the Axis Bombers drop in to our site and say g'day http://www.kg66.net/ , we also fly the japanese stuff in our role of all round bad guy's so there's lots of variety, great bunch of blokes who enjoy destroying all they can in the most effective way they can think of!

Just a plug for the new unit. Been flying alongside these guys recently and its good to see a specialist bomber unit. So if bombing & mudmoving is your thing, then try them out. They are full switch and regularly compete in Scorched Earth campaigns.

It's always refreshing to get a compliment from someone outside the unit, a rare thing on this particular forum!

While I'm here, holidaying in sunny Penang, I'd like to remind everyone that KG66 is actively involved in 2 Scorched Earth campaigns and as such we are always looking for bomber pilots that like to blow stuff up!
Don't be put off by your experience level as we will bring you up to speed if necessary.

KG66 is the best practice you are going to find on-line for when the dark shadow of Heinkels fall over London in the upcoming BoB:SOW game, and a lot of those shadows will be KG66 birds!

Boy oh boy, what a campaign this latest SE one is shaping up to be!

Last mission, KG66 put up 5 Heinkels and despite some heavy and accurate flak as well as enemy fighters swarming all over us we managed to get every aircraft back to base!

A big thumbs up to our escorting fighters!!

Been quite a while since I flew FB/AEP/PF but is KG66 the same unit or an offshoot of ZG26/JG51 Wick's crew? I used to be a member of their lot a couple of years ago.

This KG66 (I'm not aware that there was ever another one) formed in August this year.
