Hello all-I was brought to you by Choctaw111,who offered me a possible spot as a member of your squadron.
This interests me very much,BUT,I've first got to move from dial-up to DSL;and move some parts from comp to comp to maximize my performance.

This may take me a week or two,so maybe we can get to know something about each other in the interim,if you're interested in my joining.

We are definitely interested in motivated pilots like Esel. He will go through a training program and learn many things about Il2 that not many people know and become an even better pilot.

What does RAF 22/33 offer.

1. Full switch environment.
2. Own dedicated server with some co-ops opened to the public on Hyperlobby.
3. Lots of missions based on historical events. With some very talented mission makers.
4. Raf 23/33 now online with socrched earth.
5. At the end of the day we try to offer you the most immersive WW2 squad based flying experience possible.

What can we offer to a new pilot.

1. Excellent training and tuition with pilots who have many years experience under their belts.
Depending on what area you wish to be. Fighter pilots will be taught tactics and shown how to fly to be able to mix it with the best. Not only in dog fighting but in tactical situations enabling you to engage the enemy and while keeping any accompanying assets free from harm.

Bomber pilots will be taught expertise in high altitude level bombing, dive bombing, skip bombing and low level attack. When we are assigned a target by our CO. We just don't hit that target. We ask what window he wants that bomb in !

2. Increased situational awareness. You will become more alert and be aware of others that are there with you. You will be able to implement strategies quicker and work more closely with the taskforce. Its not just you up there. You will become part of a team that can think quick act quicker and provide a first class response to any occasion that arrises.

We offer great comradarie. We are a bunch of guys who have been playing and socailising together for quite some time. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed outstide of gaming and we take a focussed view whilst in missions.

All we ask is that you give your 100% and a more professional focus whilst in training and missions as there are members here who spend a lot of thier personal time creating 1st class missions, training and facilities for you to enjoy yourself here at our squadran home base.

No, I'm affraid the original IL2 is not compatible with the version we use. We, like most squads now, use 1946.
