Hello everyone,

I'm an Englishman currently working in Japan, and I'm looking for a bomber/mixed squadron to fly B-24's with, preferably in Japan.

At the moment I'm practicing with the bombsight, mostly at 10000 feet/3000 meters, and am getting steadily more accurate. I have TeamSpeak, HyperLobby, and a microphone.

Post here if you feel your squadron is right for me! I will also consider squadrons outside Japan, but because of the time distance, its unlikely you'll see me outside weekends.

Thanks alot,
Sam

RAF74 is a longtime Squadron, we have been online since RED BARON II, 11 years ago.

Our members are from Canada, Australia, (our C/O is Australian) and the United States. We fly in at approx. 9:00pm US EST time, (2:00 am GMT) mostly on Fridays and Saturdays, (Saturday and Sunday 11:00am Japan time)

We fly the Allied side, all varieties of Allied aircraft, very occasionally Axis side when numbers are needed to be balanced.

We focus on organized online wars, against other longterm Squadrons. As part of those wars, you would have the opportunity to fly many varieties of bombers. For example, we recently hosted an 8th Air Force campaign which included B-17's and B-24's.

We are just beginning a FORGOTTEN SKIES campaign, and are looking for pilots who could fly a B-25 and bomb from altitude.

We used to have a very substantial Bomber flight in our Squadron, unfortunately, new recruits have been more interested in flying Fighters. We would like to renew our Bomber flight, if you would like to be a part of that, in perhaps a leadership role, then consider us.

We are a democratic Squadron, all Staff members are elected.

Please see our website here:

OK thanks alot Buzzsaw-, your squadron looks impressive, and I'm very interested in joining. I have applied to the forums on the website with the name of 'Harris', but apparently the administrator has to check it first... so I'll see you on there when he/she does that.

Thanks alot,
Sam

Ok, may have deleted your application. We get a lot of spam applications.

Can you apply again, and please check your PM's here, I have sent some info.

Thanks RAF74_Buzzsaw X/O
