We are III./JG53 and have squads running in several time zones - Rote is USA, Gelbe is Aussie, and Weisse UK /EU. We fly the BF109G2, our currently campaign is set over Normandy in 1942 - so theres a lot of dogfighting with spitfires and also a fair few encounters with the american B17s.
We are very active and have quite a large membership.When are arnt flying "missions" we are normally having a joy flight / dogfight session to home in our aims. Currently Gelbe are having a few hosting issues but all other staffels are running perfectly and regularly. We use teamspeak to co-ordinate our efforts. We also take pilots of any level from rookie to experten! Bump - our Weisse section are flying a mission on Sunday 15th at apporximately 7.30pm. Afterwards we will be having a little bit of a joy flight so if anyones interested in coming along pop by the forums and let us know!
