I am interested in furthering some formation flying , very interested in Wingman techniques and would like some good all round traing from more experienced pilots.

And I showed the clouds how to cover up a clear blue sky.

Hi Funkster,
First off, good to see that you have gone through Joint Ops, one of our members has recently taken a period of leave to attend the training they offer and has said that it has really given him ideas on improving the JG53 training schemes.
So, a little about us:
We are II./JG53 and are a CO-OP group with a worldwide membership split into three sections based upon geographical location. Our largest section by far is our UK / EU section with around 35+ members.
As an established CO-OP group with over 40 members we are looking for BF109 pilots from all over the world to fly Co-op missions with us. We have three sections, one absed in the UK/EU, one in the USA/CAN and another based in AUS/NZ, all are operational and have plenty of active and dedicated pilots all waiting to welcome you into the group!
We fly using 1946 patched to the latest full version with our own carefully selected mod package. We are currently operating over North Afrika in Early 1943 flying the BF109G2. We allow our pilots to fly in other IL2 squadrons providing mission times don't clash - we do this as we know some people like to have a co-op squad and an online "wars" squad as well as those who enjoy being in an "axis" squad and a different "allies" squad. So if you're looking for a CO-OP squad to fly with, id ask you to consider joining us here at II./JG53.
You've probably seen a fair few of us messing about on Hyperlobbby the past few days, if you've enjoyed flying with us, or just watching to random banter then feel free to drop by our forums and say hi, no obligation to join!
You can find our website here; http://www.iijg53.com
With a link to the forums and "sign up" in the navigation bar as well as our Roster, Awards and News pages!

Hope to see you in the air with us soon!
Good luck with your search.
V

Salute Funkster

RAF74 IS a North American/Australian based Squadron, but are looking at initiating a European Flight, because we are getting so many European applicants.

Our Website is here:

www.raf74.com

We are heavily involved in playing and hosting online campaigns, using the SCORCHED EARTH COOP campaign system, as well as other online campaign systems.

We just finished OPERATION JUBILEE, a recreation of the Dieppe Raid. It involved RAF74, WingWalkers, 3Giap, II/JG1, AKA, and other Squads.

We fly online with voice comms, using the TEAMSPEAK system.

We are willing to train new players, and accelerate their development into competitive online pilots.

Hi Funkster,

feek free to take an eye on I/JG54.We're european based mainly, squadron, and we're often flying after 18:00 GMT.
We do train good. We're flying mainly the FW-190,and the new guys in our clan are flying ME-109's untill they're good enough for applying the 190.
We're an dedicated blue squadron that's flying on full real servers and online wars.
We haven't taken any new pilots for 1~1,5 month because we were practising for forming the new Schwarms and Rotte's with the new pilots that we already had.
As i said,we do train good, for 2 month max you'll be an very good pilot!Any of our members will confirm this!
So if you're interested in joining or have any questions, feel free to PM me here,or visit us at:

Hello Funkster

I think we might be what you are looking for.
JV44, The Redwulf Squadron might fit the bill. While we are an international squad, we have a number of UK members, as well as from the USA, who's flying schedule will suit. Check our website

Most of the time we fly full real settings. Some are put off by this, but we have a full training programme to teach you all the skills you need, including wingman tactics and navigation. And I have to say that not only is it a far more satisfying way to fly, if you're serious it's really the only way. Once mastered it you won't go back.

If you're not sure we run a Redwulf for a Day scheme for interested pilots. You give us a test fly on a couple of missions or on a fighter sweep and see what we're like. You can meet the squad members and check us out. You're more than welcome to give this a go.
