Well some may say we stoop low...
But we will indeed amaze you yet. The 69.GIAP has taken up the challenge of training pondlife into ace fighter pilots. Here is our most recent recruit. Now we need a control subject for this experiment so if there are any human beings out there who think they can be trained easier than a shrimp please visit www.69giap.com or click on my badge. |

If any of you want to join the 69 GIAP to compete against this noble creature of the sea, now is the time to do it. I, =69.GIAP=VALYA, have begun this little animal's training, and she has already mastered the four problems of BFM as taught by the US Air Force. I am in the process of teaching her what a lift vector is. Here is a picture of her experimenting with it:

At 69.GIAP we have learned that there is strength in diversity, and interacting with pilots with greatly differing backgrounds and interests is part of the fun of being a squad member. Thus I was shocked, shocked to discover in an informal review of our pilot roster that an exceedingly high percentage of our pilots (100%) appear to be mammalian (some more obviously than others)! Furthermore, nearly all of these pilots (approximately 98.3%) appear to be human, and most (approximately 92.2%) have a sense of humor!
This is diversity? I am glad to see that our diversity outreach and affirmative action recruitment program has begun to pay off with Kadet =69.GIAP=LILY. If you would like to fly with a diverse group of pilots, click on my badge and sign up with 69.GIAP. You do not need to be a stomatopod to join, but it helps. (We do not discriminate on the basis of age, creed, gender, nationality, race or species unless you speak Welsh). |

Let's not forget that a staggering 2% of the squadron is female (not counting the bearded woman). How many other squads can claim that?

You apparently are only counting active duty yappers like yourself. But take a look at our roster. Scrolling down the list I see four females: you =69.GIAP=VALYA, our Recreation Officer =69.GIAP=DASAC, our Parachute Packer =69.GIAP=OLGA and our NKVD Officer =69.GIAP=MAYYA. (=69.GIAP=LILY is not yet on the roster). Each plays an important role, and the squadron needs each and every one, and by my calculation our distaff side currently constitutes approximately 13.3% of our roster (not counting LILY or TASHA). You may check my facts by clicking on my badge and then selecting "Squad Roster" from the left side menu. |

Actualy we have no definitve proof that Valya is female. Being fair minded I discount the petulence, foot stamping and obsessive need to get the last word in any argument as being merely corroborative evidence. I mean she could be a clever chap pretending to be female, couldn't she? |

I would think the fact that I'm always right would be proof enough.

As an equal opportunities employer =69.GIAP= not only recruits from ponds but also has recruiting officers visit a wide range of marine environments such as coral reefs, kelp forests, tidepools, muddy, sandy and rocky bottoms, and the open ocean (pelagic) zone.
